The pharmacy program gives an opportunity  for pharmacy students on elective or those looking for internship as well as qualified pharmacists who want to volunteer.

Based in Arusha, the northern tourist hub and the safari capital of Tanzania, pharamacy elective, internship or volunteering program will expose you on how healthcare system operates in low resource settings, how pharmacists cope and find alternatives in settings with chronic shortages of medicines. 

You will have a chance to work with experienced pharmacists, experience, learn and share your knowledge on dispensing of drugs, advising clinicians on best alternative drugs, ordering and stocking of new drugs and set priorities on which drugs to stock.

You will be able to rotate in different pharmacies like care and treatment pharmacy ( for hiv/aids patients), pulmonary tuberculosis pharmacy for PTB patients and general pharmacy.
